The constant drama and turbulence in our world has most of our mind’s attention. When we become aware of where our mind is, we can choose what to attend to and how to be with that. Breathing into what is….right here, right now, is where the opening is. The opening creates a moment for us to reflect, wonder, and ask, what is possible from here?
Wayne Dyer used to say you have to believe it to see it. I call it oneness. I have fleeting moments when I experience it. In those moments everything is so clearly connected that it is impossible to not see it and know it. My conditioned mind then jumps in and talks me into believing it is all separate, so it is.
I wonder when I listen to the divisiveness and commitment to separation in these times if what George Carlin proposed might actually work. If every person on earth got to meet, shake hands, and say hi to each other would we be able to start wars so easily? He said we would all say “We can’t start a war with them, I know them!”
By the way, remember the group Another Mother for Peace? “War is not healthy for children and other living things.”
Some things are always true.
