Years ago, when completing work with a client of 2 years, I asked her, “What are you going away with?” Her reply sticks with me to this day: “That noticing is doing something.”
Noticing feelings, visions, ideas, and the voice inside that won’t leave you alone…the whispers of inspiration.
Noticing might also be about asking yourself: "What is my inner chatter about? What perspective am I in? How am I choosing to see this situation? Who am I willing to be in this situation?"
What am I thinking?
What am I feeling?
What is true for me right now?
When clients say, “I will work on this,” or “I need to work on this,” I often recommend, “Just play with it, release the grip, and notice what you notice”
Try paying attention to what you pay attention to.
It can be very revealing.
Let me know how it goes.
