We Have Chakras When We Go to Work

Yoga is very popular these days. Some yoga instructors teach a bit about chakras.

The Sanskrit word “chakra” means wheel of light. Chakras are energy centers in the body.

Yoga on the mat is a wonderful practice. The word yoga means union, the integration of body, mind, and spirit. When we leave the mat, go out into the world, and go to work…we still have chakras.

Why does it matter to know about them?

Everything is energy. We are made of energy.

These seven primary centers help us function physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. When our energy is in balance, we function better and have a sense of flow and ease.

When we are out of balance, the energy can show up as blockages that may manifest as physical problems, emotional blocks, lack of confidence, feeling ungrounded, difficulty in relationships, fatigue, and mental fog among other symptoms of imbalance.

We can clear and balance our own chakras with specific exercises, and/or work with a certified practitioner trained to remove blocks.

Clear and balanced chakras allow us to function more effectively off the mat and in the world.
